is mourning the loss of lifetime member
Nancy Lee White Bradford Southard
Born October 4, 1935, in Wheat Ridge Colorado
Died May 11, 2023, in Yuma Arizona
Nancy Lee White Bradford Southard, 87, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, surrounded by her sister, children, and grandchildren as she gained her heavenly wings.
Nancy was the youngest of 12 children born to Louise Farrell White and Francis White. She was preceded in death by her 5 sisters, 5 brothers, and her son Paul Bradford. She is survived by her sister Elsie White Heuerman and her children, Rebecca Roop, Brenda McKey, Janet Bradford, and Russell Bradford, as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Nancy lived a fulfilling life of travel, fishing, camping, and spending time with family, she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Nancy lived in many places throughout her life, but her home base was Maybell, Colorado and she retired at Country Roads RV Resort in Yuma, Arizona in 1999.
She had many jobs over her lifetime, her last “job” was owner of Southard Glass in Craig, Colorado with her husband Billy Southard.
Nancy was a volunteer for Girl Scouts of Bolingbrook, Illinois, a leader at 4-H of Moffat County, a member of Eastern Star, and the Square Dance team, in Craig, Colorado.
Nancy will be cremated, and her ashes will be placed at the White Family Homestead, West of Maybell, Colorado. Her celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Wheat Ridge Historical Park (where she was born) on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 10am to 2pm.
