The Wheat Ridge Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of the rich heritage and history of Wheat Ridge. We provide tours of historic buildings and maintain a collection of artifacts, photographs, documents, and conduct public education programs.

December 12~ Holiday Celebration 

We will be celebrating the Holiday season online so send us a photo of your "Creative Sweater" for prizes. If you have a white elephant gift or cookies to exchange you can drop it off at the Historical Park then you can choose  a gift or cookies for yourself before December 11th. The White elephant gifts will be opened during the Social. 

 

January 9 ~ Historical Fashion Show 

Join us for our Fashion Show online thru Zoom. We will have presentations on Bonnets and Aprons. Send us your picture wearing Victorian or Pioneer clothing and hats for prizes.  There will be men's and women's categories, winners will receive donated prizes.

 

 

February 13~ Valentine's Day Celebration 

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day online thru ZOOM. Send us a photo of your Handmade Card for prizes. Supplies for making cards can be found at the Historical Park prior to the Social. Share recipes of your favorite Valentine treat! There will be a presentation on Cupid, Aphrodite and Venus.
