The Wheat Ridge Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of the rich heritage and history of Wheat Ridge. We provide tours of historic buildings and maintain a collection of artifacts, photographs, documents, and conduct public education programs.

March 14 - Spring Equinox with Tall Tale Contest
at the Baugh House 11361 West 44th avenue at Robb Street. Our Spring Equinox Celebration offers a chance to spin a yarn by telling a Tall Tale with the best stories getting prizes! We will have some seeds for starting your plants. Plant a bunch your extra starters can be traded in April. There will be craft demonstrations, music and snacks.
April 11 - Earth Day Celebration
at the Baugh House 11361 West 44th avenue at Robb Street.
Learn how to help the environment with a presentation by Michelle of SustainAbility Recycling on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. You can trade your extra plant starters or purchase some from our members for your garden. There will be craft demonstrations, music and snacks.
May 9 ~ May Festival
at the Historical Park 4610 Robb St.
Join us for our Annual May Pole dance at 11 am and 1 pm we will have lunch on the cookstove in the Soddy for a nominal donation. Music by Golden strings and games with prizes!
