Heritage Day
The Wheat Ridge Historical Society will host our Heritage Day Celebration. on The SECOND SATURDAY of August from 10 am. to 2 pm. at the Baugh House 11361 West 44th avenue at Robb Street.
Join us for our Ice Cream Social, with local historical talks at 11 am and 1 pm. We will be celebrating the farming heritage of Wheat Ridge with our Vintage Quilt Show, Farm equipment Corral, Craft demonstrations, local musicians (bring your instrument or voice and join in) and visiting with our historians in the log cabin encapsulated within a Victorian 1900’s house. Dressing for the 1890’s to 1930’s will get your picture on our Facebook page!
August marks the month that James Baugh settled along Clear Creek in 1859. Heritage Day began in 2009 while the Society was restoring the Historic Baugh House.
